Design a digital clock with the following functions:
• Displays hours, minutes and seconds
• Indicates PM by displaying the decimal point
• Enables the setting of hours, minutes or seconds by having the display increment at a fast or slow speed and then stopping at the desired value
• Without using microcontroller and microprocessor
 

you can CMOS 4000 series ic such as combining decade counter..but first u need very persistent clock input..

without using micro controller i think the time will not be accurate and may not function accordingly.....

Microcontrollers use clocks to measure the time and you can do the same by using the clock directly. No microcontrollers are required.
