I am looking for a book/tutorial/course/paper to start with.
Any suggestions?

what is ldo?

Does any university have a course on LDO design?
I would like to access the slides, if possible.

ldo design tutorial

i recommend rincon-moran thesis
i used it to learn the basics of the ldo: typical transient and frequency responses.

Dear guy:
How to differentiate between LDO and dc to dc converter?
What is LDO VFM mode and PWM mode?

best ldo

There is a company Micrel who makes good LDO's.
you can see there website or contact there sales or engineers.
I think they will help you out.

An LDO is essentially a linear converter.
Both LDO and DC-DC (buck, boost, buck-boost, cuk, flyback, bridge, whatever) are used to create a fixed stable voltage.
The main difference is that LDOs operate linearly (no switching) and DC-DC converters are switched converters with magnetic elements (inductors).

Re: LDO design

best i can help you with there is PWM means pulse width modulation... but i don't know how that ties into LDO's
