dd-160128fc-1a

Hi everyone,

I'd like to use the OLED displays DD-160128FC-1A and DD-2832BE-1A.
My boards (with PIC24FJ256GB110) are supplied with 3.3 V but I read in the datasheet of these displays that they need high voltages (8 to 18 V) to work. I thought I can use charge pump devices but I couldn't find one that accept just 3.3V and output 8 to 18 V.

Any examples? any suggestions? any links?

Thanks for your help

Hi

Use TPS61081 from TI as a high voltage booster for the OLED

All the best

Hi Bobi,
thanks for your help.
Do you have any application example (software and/or electronic design) using one of those displays or a similar one?

In the datasheet they stated that the display must be power supplied on/off sequentially (but they give no example !!!).

Hi

From my experience with OLED display you will need to ask the manufacture for example code who works with his display

Since there are many OLED controller manufacture and one is differ from other

Can you upload the Data sheet for me to look at?

All the best

Hi
here are the datasheets of both displays.
They've tried (page 16-17) to give some functional specifitions but I don't understant it!
It would be very helpful for us if they'd given some real application examples (code in C)

Best regards

Hi

Google the name of the OLED chip controller and you will find some application in C language

All the best

Hi,

I finally decided to use the TPS61040 from TI to produce the 12V the DD-160128FC-1A. Its datasheet shows many possible configurations (12V, 15V,18V..).

And this site got interesting stuff on that display and the controller SEPS25 (that helped me ).
