Power Supply Problem

Hi, everyone,
i recently bought a current transducer its working fine except for one problem. That is it needs both +15V and -15V, and in my design I can not manage a -Ve power rail. is there some way to work it out by using some passive components.

Better to use following simple circuit to do so: (only concern is it supplies low current)

You could also use a charge pump IC. Google for 'charge pump', most of them give out an inverted voltage.

Check the supply requirements. Compensating transducers usually need several 10 up to several mA from both supplies.

i tried the 555 circuit and it is like what FvM says the supply drops under load..... :(

Almost any +30V to +15V buck converter can be used as a +15V to -15V inverting boost converter, for example a National SimpleSwitcher, see the respective application circuits in the datasheet: **broken link removed**. But you should determine the supply current requirements first.
