MAY I KNOW THE INDUCTOSYN PRINCIPLES. IN WHICH HANDBOOK I WILL GET THE WORKING PRINCIPLES IDEA.

IS ANY PRACTICAL WORKING CIRCUIT I WILL GET FOR CONVERTING INDUCTOSYN SIGNAL TO QUADRATURE TTL OUTPUT ( SAME AS QUADRATURE ENCODER )

PLEASE EMAIL THIS TO cruisers@vsnl.com

Re: inductosyn/resolver

I don't remember too much about the inductosyn but I still can tell that the idea was about two analog sinusoidal signals that are out of phase and the resultant output signal that depends on the distance in addition to the signal parameters like frequency and amplitude.

I think a lot of digital verniers are made using inductosyn instead of using encoders or potentiometers, however I really don't remember the equations and the main principles and if the chosen frequency for the signal matters or what.

I hope at least I've given some hint.
