i have seen a file in hfss used 30 ghz frequency to simulate the dipole antenna im thinking where can we use this this of antenna in real world can any one help me

22-29ghz is for automotive radar. 30ghz is for satelitte receiver .

DEAR FRIEND THANK YOU VERY MUCH BUT DO U MIND TO EXPLAIN MORE I MEAN CAN I FIND THE DIPOLE ANTENNA THERE ..COULD U PLZ EXPLAIN ME ABOUT THE AUTOMOTIVE RADAR

30 GHz is too much for dipole.

i have designed a 18GHz dipole
30GHz i think it will be smaller

this my question and im waiting from frıends for answer where can ı use this type of dipol e

I know people are building radar for automotive to sense the surrounding of the car. Making sure that there is enough room to back up or making sure you aren't going to hit the side of a wall as you drive by... stuff like that. it's a newer field. that's just what i heard. i'm sure you can think of other applications for auto radar.

i would guess that you can have a dipole antenna at any frequency. but maybe people building the circuits aren't using dipoles.

hi..i have a dipole made in HFSS that operates at 30GHz..

hope it would be helpful

Hi idiot, I have a question if you can help me,
In your file, you normalized the impedance of port to 79 Ohm, but in reality, we use the port 50 Ohm for fabrication of antenna, what will we do (in the case without balun)?

Tks.
