Problem with the software of ASIM khan flash programmer

asim khan programmer

I've used ASIM khan flash progammer.
The software does not recognized my device correctly.It reads the microcontroller only when 89S53 is selected,though mine is 89S51.Also there is an error while writing,says that
program buffer 00h
data buffer 80h

please help me on this

I also tried Asim Khan's software but it never worked for me. The software that i have uploaded is configurable. You probably won't have to change your hardware.

this not the 1st time i m trying ASIM's software.it worked 4 me before.but this time i m using usb to parallel cable n it is not working 4 me.the cable is gud.
i've also tried the other configurable software u r talking about,but it didnt work.
i m constsntly getting the same error i,ve mentioned before.please help me,its urgent.

Hi!
Although i haven't got much experience with 8051's and their programming but i can be in a better position if you can post the schematic of the hardware that you are using. May be the usb speed is more than fast for the programmer to work correctly.

Hi!
I have attached an image that shows the setting of the software that i have loaded for your programmer.
You should also correctly specify your processor board clock frequency correctly.

Thanx 4 ur consistant replies.
i've few doubts about wat u've sent.
1)how u've set port address in hex,i've tried this many times but wont work 4 me.
2)the pin configuration u've set is different from my circuit diagram.should i change my circuit diagram accordingly?
If possible could u please send me the detailed circuit diagram,it will be very useful.

Hi Rushikesh!
You are welcome.
1. I haven't set the port address myself, the sofware automatically detects the
ports available. You can only select one of the ports shown by the software.
2. I have configured the pins according to the programmer image that you have
loaded in your previous message.
3. I have attached the hardware schematic of the programmer that i had used with
this software.
4. If possible view the outputs on the port pins using an oscilloscope and verify
wheather they are changing their levels.
5. Another important thing is the length of the programming cable. For initial
testing keep it as short as possible.
