Difference between clock recovery and timing recovery?

Is there any Difference between clock recovery and timing recovery??
i have great confusion regarding this...
plz explain anybody.....................
 

if i remem well clock recovery is in terms of frequency and timing recovery is in terms of phase...
 
I thing they are the same which means recover the time of symboles transmission
 
i also think both terminologies are same..

if all the symbol are of same length then just multiply the basic frequency else we have to use some algorithm i.e. logic trees etc which decide when the symbol ends based on the data received....
 
Dear,
i have confirmed this from MODERN DIGITAL AND ANALOG COMM. SYSTEM (B.P. LATHI),on page 328, that both terminologies are same thing.
it tells 3 methods of time recovery, i am writing one of it for ur understanding (if u have this book then read it by urself.)
it says,
"digital signal contains a descrete component of the clock frequency itself. when the on-off binary signal is applied to a resonant circuit tuned to the clock frequency, the output signal is the desired clock signal"
