Hi, everyone. I am wondering whether there are someone using the HP vector network analyzer 8510 system. My cable for the RF synthesizer 83651 has some trouble, and I am just going to replace it. So what is the model or part number for that RF cable? Can the PC-2.4 cable be used for this output? Thanks.

That cable do not need particular phase stability, so high performance cable are not needed. But 2.4mm coax cable assembly are almost all performant and expensive.
The only low cost alternative is the semi-rigid coax.

Also choose the path lenght as short as possible in order to get at the out the highest power level.

If the original semi-rigid has a broken SnPb solder joint, You may try to repair it before buy a new one.
