led display project + 7219

Hi,
I found this project on www.woe.de.vu. This is led message display with atmel 89c2051 and display driver MAX7219.
I make this led display with 11 modules (each modul consist 64 individual leds).
How, I have a problem. Led mesage display work only with 3 modules. When I connect modue No. 4 nothing on display.
All boards is powerred with +5V from PC Power supply (with 15A).
Probably output from ATMEL 89c2051 (signal LOAD, CLOCK and DATA), have not enough power for all moduls???????
Can anybody have experience with this project, if somebody made this project please meil me,

Check the 4th module, if there is a problem on it.

Try to buffer LOAD and CLOCK signal.

Hi,
I attach asm file from led message project from www.woe.de.vu,
If somebody have experience and time I need help abouth this,
In this projects is in use MAX 7219 led display driver. I need maximum intensity for leds, how can I do this,
Second I need scroling speed change, asm file is in German lenguage, somebody tell me "where" is the speed value,
And finaly, I need good asembler to make hex code,

hello members ,is there a way one can use another shift register like 74hc595 in place of max 7219 for this project.

I dont have in my area max7219 and is there a way i can use another available shift register for the display,.

Hi Obialor,
you can order FREE SAMPLES of MAX7219 from www.maxim-ic.com, in one ship you can resieve maximum 5 qto.
Repeat that several times and max7219 is here...
