Did anyone once calculate the quality factor of dielectric rod type photonic crystal slab by using 3D FDTD? Thanks.
 

hi ,dell,can you calculate the bandgap by fdtd ,i wonder could you send the code to me as reference,

you can use free planware software to get the bandgap. For example, mit MPB.
