In a pipelined ADC, there is a residue amplifier between two stages. Although I understood the function of the residue amplifier, but I don't know how to design it. Seldom essays explain inter stage residue amp clearly. And this residue amp just a digital circuit? Someboby can tell me about this? Thank a lot!

almost all paper on pipeline will say something about it. it's analog circuits.

really?oh, let me look for more papers.

in fact, most IEEE papers maybe explain little about it. Can you give me some papers explain the residue amplifier detailly?
Thank you very much in advance.
