i need to plot my VCO frequency vs temperature/Vdd variation in cadence waveform. How do I do that?
Thanks

You can use the calculator to build up a expression to find the frequency from transient analysis results. Add the expression to the outputs (Outputs / Setups ...)
Example:
Name: fosc
Expression: 1/(cross(VT("/VCO_OUT") 1.25 "rising" 3)-cross(VT("/VCO_OUT") 1.25 "rising" 2))
Setup a transient analysis with sufficent long time. Then use parameter analysis tool to sweep temerature or Vdd.

hello Hughes,
how to make a parametric analysis on Tempreture, i.e. where to put the variable ?
i think i tried to put a variable in the analog enviroment option but failed

The variable name for temperature is tempdc. You can use menu item "Pick Variable ..." to find this variable.
