sourses

Ahhh forgot to mention that you also need the external 5V antenna (coax powered by the Axiom module) for $10 bucks so total cost to you will be around $28 or so.

These antennas are real cute and come with long cable too:

Hai

My experience:

Purchased a low cost module from china or somewhere..

No guarentee nothing ..

It didint worked . Other 3 units which my associates purchased met with same fate. I lost a lot of time and money .( GPS outputting strings but satellites not tracking)

After that purchased a fastrax module
It worked ok.

I know this generalisation need not be correct.

With regards

It is an unfortunate case for you and for that Chinese company! I think that is something that we need to learn, about quality of product to supply.

Who used Ublox gps modules for 30 - 40 usd?
Please share experience

I've used few hundreds so far. Just one came defective from the factory, it just kept resetting itself, but it was changed by the supplier. All others are in use from years and working fine, in automotive environment.
