how to get power anaylsis with io pads

after doing the power analysis , I get the report file.
but the power is so small, I can't believe it . so I check my IO timing libray, I found that the timing is not defined for cell corner、power and ground. Is this the crucial reason?

It has nothing to do with the Corner cell, Power pad and Ground pad.

Check those inputs for the power analysis first !
================================
1) Library (.lib)
Does there have power information in the .lib files ?
-- leakage power ?
-- internal power ?

2) Analysis way
- 2.a) Probability (toggle rate)
- 2.b) VCD (value change dump)

How to you do the power analysis ?

1) I have checked the io timing library, and found the power information in the .lib files.
2) I use the Power Analysis Statistical Mode to run power analysis for the power or ground nets using the post-CTS clock option with pad location file&net toggle probability file.

I found there were timing defines for cell power and ground in smic .35um library but not in this .18um library. As you told it has nothing to do with the Power pad and Ground pad, why?

First,
Timing model of Power or Ground pads do not affect the result of power analysis.

The location of power/ground pad just used as the reference source point for "IR-drop" analysis. (Not power consumption analysis.)

Secnod,
In your power report, the power supply voltage is 1.62 v.
So it will only contain cells which operating voltage is 1.62v.
(Maybe only standard cell power consumption.)

The operating voltage of I/O pad should not be 1.62v.
--> I/O pad power consumption can not been observed in this report.
