Hi!

I am using a AT91SAM7S128, i made a small evaluation board:

**broken link removed**

At first I tried to program the FLASH using SAM-BA with the debug-port. Unfortunately my chip is revision B and SAM-BA is only on revision C.

So I built a JTAG-programmer with the Wiggler-design:

**broken link removed**
**broken link removed**

I have made sure all connections are correct. Then I downloaded OCD Commander from macraigor.com . http://www.macraigor.com/ocd_cmd.htm

My problem is, it cannot connect...

How am I supposed to control the JTAGSEL port (pin50) ? When i put it in a high state the clock crystal (18.4320MHz) stops, and it does not resume if i do a reset and keep the JTAGSEL high... The crystal only works when JTAGSEL is low.

Has anyone here used AT91SAM7S128 and can help me getting started?

/Johan

I got it working. I found an old version of OCD Commander 2.2 that worked better...

"One note about the new versions of ocdremote (>2.07) - make sure the parallel port connector has a link between pins 8 and 15. The newer versions check this. If it is not present they fail with internal error 43."

Thanks! Now I can use the latest version, good.

How did you know this? (I'm just curious)
