We have path in which transition time of one of the cell is very high (~1000ps), Still path is not violating in terms of timing. Max transition time is 200ps.
I have below 2 queries:

1)when we do report timing, how report looks? Is it will show timing path with 1000ps trans in prime time report?
2) what if max transition time availble in library is ~1000ps.

1) yes, it will show 1000ps trans in report
2) if library characterized upto 1000ps - your timing report is correct. Still, you may have problems with noise on wires with huge transition time.

What if library not characterized upto 1000ps. I read in books, it will do extrapolation calculation, what is extrapolation calculation? and do we get corrupted timing report?

It will do extrapolation, but delay vs. transition is not linear, so the error in timing report is possible. We should avoid such situation.
