Overvoltage protection one chip solution?

I want to add over voltage protection to a 5.2V, 2.5A SMPS.

I'm looking for minimum parts count and cost, the circuit could be a one time only type circuit.

This device would be ideal if it had a slightly higher current rating: https://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/NCP349MNAETBG/NCP349MNAETBGOSCT-ND/3462393

There is a higher current variety in this family, however the 5V, 3A version does not appear to be stocked anywhere.

Any suggestions?
 

analog devices or maxim may do something, even linear.com
Otherwise just use a res divider, comparator, and p channel fet

You can use TL431, it's a comparator with a ref zener. You will also need P chnl mosfet and 2 resistors to set the voltage.

yes, indeed, or indeed the TLV431 which has a lower ref voltage and less bias current draw.
However, the bias current can be a problem as if the cct isn't done right then youll end up with the pfet on when you don't want it on,
