Please can anyone tell me that if a row in routh hurwitz is entirely zero ,then we will get the auxilliary equation and doing derivative of that we will replace the zero row with the cofficients of the derivative equation.now i want to know that how to dwtwermine that whether the system is stable,or marginary stable or unstable....

Please let me know , i have exam very soon....

if row of zeros occurs, it is replaced by auxiliary equation. solving auxiliary equation gives imaginary roots which implies the system is marginally stable.
If at all there are sign changes in the first column, system is unstable.
