Current comsumed by a typical SIM card?

I want to know if a SIM Card can be powered through a Microcontroller, thus can somone tell me the current consumed by by the Power Pin (VCC) of the SIM Card? I know that there are different classes to SIM cards.. but I just want a typical figure.. not exact.

I dont want to use a transister if I can source the current through a Microcontroler. thank you for your responses and time.
 

If i supply 3.6 volts to a 1.8V sim, would it cause any damage to it?

p.s : i just tried suplying 3.8V from a LiPo battery to a SIM card that takes in 1.8V. Afterwards I tested it. It works perfectly. I just want to know the current used by the SIM Card now. An approximate value will be more than enough.

Obvious enough, the excess supply will burn the chip and render it useless
 

I tried giving the SIM Card 3.6 Volts. Nothing happened. Im wondering if you have an idea of the current required by the SIM Cards VCC.
