Hello

Could any one please tell me what do u mean by 9 metal track or 12 metal track? What does it indicate?.. which one is used in latest technology ??

Number of metal layers, I'd guess. There are even more with latest processes, see e.g. here.
 

It would be the number of layers, the more layer the more complexity and expense!
