Can anyone tell the difference between various analysis like DC,Transient, AC.. .And also when and were it is used?

Transient analysis simulates circuit in the time domain (like an oscilloscope the x-axis is time).
DC analysis means that you vary some source and look at the result ( the x-axis is DC source)
AC analysis is small-signal analysis. It is used in microelectronic (the x-axis is frequency)

dc analysis is the response of any ckt to the dc supply ip given to it

ac analysis there is no dc supply in it all dc supplies are shorted here and the response of the ckt to only ac is studied

transient is small period of time as above stated if some change is brought about in a time t and then analysing it comes under transient

when we apply voltage to a circuit...either ac or dc..it takes a finite time to settle down to a final value ...this finite time is called as transient time ...and analysis performed...to calculate parameters like 'maximum overshoot, rise time, settling time...etc' can be calculated by transient analysis.
it can be done either in time domain or in freq ..domain..
while dc analysis is performed to calculate the bias points of the circuit...
in ac analysis(freq domain analysis) we sweep the frequency from dc value to calculate parameters like bandwidth..(lower cut off frequency and higher cutoff frequency)..

comments are always welcome..

there is also the impact of cap and stuff involved in ac analysis while it is less significant in dc analysis

My comments are in red

dc analysis is the response of any ckt to the dc supply ip given to it

not only to the dc supply but to any dc source that is selected for simulation purposes

ac analysis there is no dc supply in it all dc supplies are shorted here and the response of the ckt to only ac is studied

That's not correct. Prior to each ac analysis the dc operating point is calculated automatically based on all dc sources in the circuit.

transient is small period of time as above stated if some change is brought about in a time t and then analysing it comes under transient

not only "small period of time". Tran analysis simply is the timely response of the circuit to any selected waveform source.

got to admit it but never can any response be studied independently one with other

the super position principle is applied at the end of the analysis to frame the final effectiveness of the ckt or device

thanks you. Now what is steady state analysis and DC analysis??

DC analysis and steady state analysis ...both are different...concepts..

as i mentioned in the previous post..dc analysis only done for calculating the DC BIAS POINTS of the circuit..

steady state analysis refers ...to analysis which is performed after transient state...

the word steady means resting or in stable form

the ckt reaches such a state oly after the transient time is elapsed here the response is more or less same and constant
