i am currently doing my project work in LTspice software .
i have implemented my circuit in LTspice. now... i want to measure the power consumption.
so, what can i do ?
thank u ....

okay.....
but what about dynamic power consumption ?
will it be covered into this calculation ?

thanks for reply.....

The formula for dynamic power consumption is f. C .(Vdd)^2. Use this to calculate dynamic power.

If you simply plot current times voltage that is the power. Look in LTspice "help" under "arithmetic". You can also calculate the average power.

Keith.

In simple words, the total supply current of a CMOS circuit without noticeable quiescent currents or resistive loads refers to dynamic power dissipation.
