terminal V1.9b- settings.

Com port 1
Baud rate 4800
Data bits 8
parity none
stop bits 1
hand shaking none
reset counter 13

-
the voltage levels on tx shows 5.05v(pin1) ,rx 4.98v(pin5) for UM232R...

Open device manager and see on what com port is adapter in windows. Does your PC have standard build in com ports on motherboard? This is some trivial problem dont worry.

In device manager :
communication com port - COM1
usb serial port - COM 7 ..

-
there is no com 7 option in terminal V1.9b .. and only COM 2 is not in use in my computer, all other com ports status are in use. do i have to change the USB Serial port to COM 2 and try it out ?
