using spi with at89s8252

hlo...
i m usng spi with at89s8252 for a project.....but how it will work??what is basic thing of it tell me???/
 

SPI stands for serial peripheral protocol. It operates in Full Duplex mode for Master and Slave. A Sync. Serial clock, a Slave selelect (Chip select), two IOs MOSI(master out slave in) & MISO (master in slave out) signals represent this 4-wire serial communication signals.
at89s8252 is 8-bit uC and has port1 pins 4,5 ,6 & 7 dedicated to SPI.
