First thanks for your advice. But my experience lack on the "OP select". What's mean ripple rejection? Can you give me some advice about which OP to select ? I use AD8092.
On the other hand , the AGC system need to be controled in 1us. So any R or C filtering will delay...

I have try this way, but the modulation is too high beside the main carrier (about -20dBc) to filter.
I'm designing a 5.8G AGC system. use HMC346 as voltage control attenuator. When the input power change from -10 to 0dBm, I let HMC346 change from -14dB to -4dB loss. Now the output power can be controled in 1dB range.
But the problem is that HMC346 is a negative voltage control attenuator...
any one can give me some advice on synthesizer use.
If a synthesizer used at 3GHZ and Phase noise at 10khz is better than -95dB/hz?
Or a fractional synthesizer should be used?
I want to design an amplifier inband is 200-400MHz
now the problem is that if I get the gain flatness in 1dB ,
the inband return loss will be poor.
This is due to most transistor has high gain and poor gain flatness at low frequency in a relative wide band.
Any advice can help me to catch both...

But in which way can I improve VCO resonator Q value and then the phase noise?

Thanks for your advice. But I can not use the probe to simulate in MWO, and set in the graph. Is there any example for me to learn? Or any article to reference?
I have simulated the VCO used nonlinear model and have tuned S11>1 then how can I catch the VCO frequency and power at output graph in MWO or even the phase noise?
