Designing a 5.8G AGC using HMC346 (negative voltage control attenuator)

Re: 5.8G AGC problem First thanks for your advice. But my experience lack on the "OP select". What's mean ripple rejection? Can you give me some advice about which OP to select ? I use AD8092. On the other hand , the AGC system need to be controled in 1us. So any R or C filtering will delay...

Designing a 5.8G AGC using HMC346 (negative voltage control attenuator)

Re: 5.8G AGC problem thank you for your help,I will order sample to test it。 And any other help also is welcomed!!! Added after 1 minutes: I have try this way, but the modulation is too high beside the main carrier (about -20dBc) to filter.

Designing a 5.8G AGC using HMC346 (negative voltage control attenuator)

Re: 5.8G AGC problem but I need it work at 5.8GHz, Its operating range is 2.7G to 4.0G. How about its function at 5.8GHz?

Designing a 5.8G AGC using HMC346 (negative voltage control attenuator)

I'm designing a 5.8G AGC system. use HMC346 as voltage control attenuator. When the input power change from -10 to 0dBm, I let HMC346 change from -14dB to -4dB loss. Now the output power can be controled in 1dB range. But the problem is that HMC346 is a negative voltage control attenuator...

    synthesizer and Lo design

any one can give me some advice on synthesizer use. If a synthesizer used at 3GHZ and Phase noise at 10khz is better than -95dB/hz? Or a fractional synthesizer should be used?

wide band IF amplifier design help

I want to design an amplifier inband is 200-400MHz now the problem is that if I get the gain flatness in 1dB , the inband return loss will be poor. This is due to most transistor has high gain and poor gain flatness at low frequency in a relative wide band. Any advice can help me to catch both...

thanks for advice but where can I get these two book? where can I downlaod?

how can I catch the VCO frequency and power at output graph?

Re: how can I catch the VCO frequency and power at output gr thanks for help! Now I can catch the oscillator frequency, power and phase noise. But in which way can I improve VCO resonator Q value and then the phase noise? how can I see from the output graph?(such as s11, RE(Z) and so on)?

how can I catch the VCO frequency and power at output graph?

Re: how can I catch the VCO frequency and power at output gr Thanks for your advice. But I can not use the probe to simulate in MWO, and set in the graph. Is there any example for me to learn? Or any article to reference?

how can I catch the VCO frequency and power at output graph?

I have simulated the VCO used nonlinear model and have tuned S11>1 then how can I catch the VCO frequency and power at output graph in MWO or even the phase noise?
