Hi wandering heart, Thanks for your suggestion!
If i would say i am not so familiar with the COMSOL, can i realize this in the RSoft FDTD simulation?
Thanks!
Does it really exists a finite width plane wave?
To be a approximately plane wave the width of the incident wave must be comparable to the width of the simulation area. That means the incident wave will full fill the simulation area.
refractive index simulation
Actually it is like the simulation of traditional semiconductor carrier(electron or hole) relaxation and recombination in the pump-probe scheme. In that situation the carrier dynamics will cause the change of the material refractive index with time, which reflects in...
Hi, exeyez, thanks for your information! however, i find the bit rate is so slow that i hardly open the link. Can you do some introduction?
Hi, medaziz, many thanks for your help! i am new here how can i find your email and make contact with you. By the way, what to ask what is the language of...
That depends on what environment you implement the fdtd. For example if you use the rsoft software to do fdtd simulation, it provides a easy way to generate the periodic dielectric array
rsoft fdtd
i have got a problem in FDTD simulation with RSoft software
Can i realize such simulation as the refractive index of a segment changed with the evolution of time in a FDTD simulation? That means during the FDTD simulation the refractive index is a function of the time. That might be...
To define a point source, choose to select spatial excitation type "current" in the launch parameters, and set the width, length, height to be zero as well. When it is 2d the orientation is fixed along the y direction while for the 3d you can adjust it. Yes there is difference between the TE and...
