how to choose a proper cap ratio in a sigma delta adc?thanks

For a 1st sigma-delta adc, max input voltage is 3v, reference voltage is 0.75V. Cs is the sample cap, Cf for the reference feedback cap. I found only when the relation below is true, the adc works normally: Vin_max *Cs=Vref*Cf. That means Cs/Cf=1/4. Can some one give me an...

Does anybody know about open-circuit time constant analysis?

It is said in Razavi's analog ic book that a pole is produced in a node, but giving no theory evidence. As an intuitive, I think it is deduced from the open-circuit time constant analysis. But as I know that method only applies to get -3db pole, not the nondominant one. So does anybody confire...

    [SOLVED] help!!-monte-carlo analysis on a comparator's offset

offset data can be obtained by .meas command in monte-carlo analysis, and be processed by excel to print the picture I need. Anyway, erikl, it does work!

    [SOLVED] help!!-monte-carlo analysis on a comparator's offset

Thanks erikl. Yes, by trying diferent artificial offset voltage, the minimum offset voltage could be found. But I need a picture like this: https://obrazki.elektroda.pl/46_1258984315.gif. In transient monte-carlo analysis, with big enough differential inputs, the outputs wil be turned...

    [SOLVED] help!!-monte-carlo analysis on a comparator's offset

Thanks. But the problem is how to simulate the offset of a latched comparator which needs 2 steps to make a decision? By dc sweep or by transient simulation? If by transient one, how to print an offset voltage?

    [SOLVED] help!!-monte-carlo analysis on a comparator's offset

HI, guys, Do you know about how to perfom a monte-carlo analysis on a comparator's offset by hspice? I want to get a picture like the one below, it is got from P.E.allen's book. Thank you for any comment. https://obrazki.elektroda.pl/46_1258984315.gif

Help!!!What is "pwell soft connected", a DRC error

Re: Help!!!What is "pwell soft connected", a DRC e Thanks, everybody above. The problem was settled. I connected two seperate pwells directly by metal, rather than overlaped them. Thank U

Help!!!What is "pwell soft connected", a DRC error

should psub2 be connected There is something wrong with my layout. DRC indicated the only error is "pwell soft connected",but what is it on the hell? Thank you very much for help!!!!
