Ya I told them that, But they want me to give some test vectors and check, which will provide maximum coverage i guess.
They asked me to develop a test plan to test the circuitry.
In that case can you help me with the test vectors that will provide...
I was asked "How to verify a 16 bit adder and a 256 bit counter."
I was asked how I will develop a test plan to effectively test the above circuits. They dont want the exhaustive testing of the circuit.

The MAX3232 converts the TTL to RS232 logic...I connect the 3 pins on the RS232 side of the converter(the Txd, Rxd,Gnd)
The other end of the converter, i.e USB end is connected to the PC.
Please let me know if this will produce the same output as the FTDI TTL to 232 cable.

But when i saw the "USBasp AVR USB ISP" programmer available in microstudio, it says that atmega324 is compatible with it but it doesn't say about the compatibility with atmega324p.
