Hi All ,
I doing a small project and i need a dc motor in special size ( to harmonise with its space ). i found it in an old printer , but i could not know the value of typical voltage which i must use for it, and there are no thing was written on the body of the motor.
are there any way can i...
learn control systems
Hi
U can connects between an electronic eng and control science by an other good book :
Digital Control Systems Second Edition by Benjamin C. Kuo
we are studying in our university.
I think U do'nt need to calculate. The easy way to know the current drawn from each motor by run the motors from dc source ( 12v ) direct without connect any electronic item and then U can measure the current that enter to each motor.
Hi rsrunreal ,
I think the general steps that U need
U want to be able to learn yourself, for that U most studying some mathematical principles.
( it's will ease your understanding)and then U can study in all about
1. DC curcuits(becouse it's not too complex), theores of solution, and design...

Re: Robotic locomotion
Hi,
I Thing that using the motors is the best because :
1. the motors give u an ability on control in the locomotion and change the side of the moving, specialty if u using a stepper motors.
2. By motors u can give double and more of the strong's motor by using a gear...
