If I get u right, U can assign the boundaries as (HFSS>ASSIGN>BOUNDARIES>PERFECT E) for a short circuit and(HFSS>ASSIGN>BOUNDARIES >PERFECT H) for an open circuit.

I want to know the tangential field calculation for a complex structure as helix in TWT.since the field at the centre of helix is zero , then where must the additional line be drawn to calculate the tangential field along it.
