its like this , assume u r data after zig-zag scan is
-13, -3,6,0,0,2,0,0,0,-1,0,0,0,0,0---
to use RLE it is
-13 is DC
(4) -13= 100 0010
Acs:
(0,2)-3 =0 number of zeros before non-zero coffecitens
-2 length to represent -3 ;
(0,3)6...
DCT is used in compression standards ,
1) it converts time domain to frequency domain
2) by doing DCT the signal energy is concerntrated at DC(most) , Low frequency and high frequency
