Does anyone know how I can measure a battery's internal resistance while it's still connected to a circuit? I have a need to measure a lead-acid cell's internal resistance.
Anyone with some ideas?

What's a good method to periodically measure the internal resistance of a battery while the battery is in use.
If that's not possible, how can I measure the battery's internal resistance while it is still connected but not in use?
