However, I have read in a site that APR9600 is no more available. Rather it is recommended to use APR33A3 IC. Do you know anything regarding APR33A3?

Do you mean sp+ to mic & sp- to ground?? because sim900 has only one port for mic & one for speaker.
I don't have the apr ICs yet. I would confirm the connections & appropriate working IC for sim900 & would then get one for my project.

I had tried dese AT commands but dis doesnt work, shows ERROR. Though d same commands are available in d AT_command pdfs bt is nt supportd by d sim900 module i hav(of RhydoLabs). Some posts here also mentnd dat we ned to connect ICs wid d module for voice playback like apr9600 or...
