The MOSFET I have chosen are from Vishay, SI7141DP with 1.9 mOhm Rds.
Board layers can be up to 4. MOSFETs from the connector are about 5/6 cm a way. Type of connector is a DRC13-24PA from TE.
The current is pulsed, can I use internal plane for the gnd? Or top layer and some part of the...
Looks like everyone has different opinion! I can't believe that no one out there has never build a high current PCB board. I forgot to mention is for a 12/24 DC Motor, and all the MOSFETs are in SMD.
Can I use top and bottom layers for at least the main 80A track with a lot of vias in between...
Altium, tinned tracks to carry high current
Hello,
I'm designing a motor control board which will handle 3 channels of 26Amper each therefore almost 80Amper the input.
I have never designed a board before to handle such a high current!
What's the best way to design the thick tracks to...
Hi sorry you are right! Vin is 12V and pwm frequency is around 12.5KHz. But i sorted out, there was a problem with my connection, I connected the Vin of the MC33926 to the output of the mosfet instead to Vin..:bang: I should have checked the connections first.
I wanted to add to the motor...
Hi Guys,
I'm having some problems with my design, before i finalize it I have decided to do a quick hook up with wires to check if everything is working fine, basically I have and external source of the PWM signal ( just focus only to the first channel for now) it has a resistor divider each of...
Hi there, sorry for my late reply, been quite busy these days.
Thanks for taking time answering to my thread, however i have already solved the dilemma!!
thanks again and happy new year!!!
How about you slightly alter your battery charger that you already have adding a current sensor to it https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/MAX4372FEUK%2BT/MAX4372FEUK%2BTTR-ND/807299 then feed that voltage to the ADC of the micro then you can generate a pwm in relation of that voltage...
Does anyone know a satable circuit to use with and ATmega 3.3V as a pulse peak limiter with a good band width .
Basically the circuit needs to accept a frequency as input, or odometer signal, reed sensor who close to ground all the time pass to the magnet etc.
Maybe a comparator with a peak...
Hello Im trying to wire a atmega with a 3.3 ldo and a 3.7v lipo battery and its charger.
For the lipo charger i thought to use the MCP73831 and for the ldo not sure yet.
The main point is powering the atmega at 3.3 and changing the 3.7 lipo! possibly with less components as possible.
I would...
