What is bandwidth effeciency in MIMO systems

Re: Question For MIMO gurus Hi, This Could be the ansswer for this question: In general Bandwidth Efficiency means : C/BW C - Channel Capacity ; BW - Bandwidth In case of MIMO this ration will boost up by a factor of rank(H) where H is the channel matrix (this again depends on the type of...

    OFDMA sub channelization

ofdma subchannelization Tiles are also like our time slots but they do have restrictions in subcarriers direction..i.e our Tiles are SymbolsXSubcarriers Matrix.Mostly per each tile we are assigning 48 subcarriers. These tiles only we are using for scheduling. In Single carrier case we don't...

Please explain to me resource allocation in OFDM!

Re: resource allocation Resource allocation in OFDM means based on subcarrier SNR we are selecting modulation scheme i.e Channel State Information should be available at the Tx such that modulation shcemes can be adapted...

    WLAN specification...

hi, I hope these might be correct ,cross check once... Signal bandwidth/Subcarrier Spacing -312kHz channel bandwidth---20MHz carrier frequency --- 2.4 ghz sampling frequency(fs) ---20Msps doppler frequency --- Its depends on Velocity( with in 10kmph)=v/lambda V is velocity in m/sec...

Why Downlink Rates are higher than Uplink rates?

have 10 % of uplink then downlink I think these rates are depends on the type of applications and type of communications... I find in WiMAX(broadband wireless) DL rates are higher than UL since in the UL we are getting only BW requsts and control messages...in DL only data flow..applications...

Please Help me to form a TDD frame in MobileWiMAX...

Dear Friends, I am beginner to WiMAX.I want to know the clear details about the TDD frame structure in WiMAX. What is the difference between Symbol and Subchannel? They are mentioning 24 sucarriers over 2 OFDM symobls .. It means 48subcarriers or differnt? Please give me clear Idea...

How the input to the IFFT is in frequency domain?

Hi i friends, I have one doubt in OFDM.We are using IFFT for the purpose of baseband modulation. The function of the IFFT is to convert Frequency domain to timedomain. But how we are giving the input in frequency domain. 1)We are generating data 2)Applying modulation 3)Applying IFFT Where the...

What's the difference between non return to zero(nrz) and return to zero(rz) waveform

Re: nrz and rz I think RZ is having more BER than NRZ. Manchester is having very less BER compared to other line coding schemes. Regards, tarak
