Referring to the attached image file, I am trying to figure out what the output of the second diagram will be. It looks apparent that the reverse (feedback) resistance will be substantially lower in the second case giving a much lower output voltage.

Beagleboard is cheap for the performance. But with the features you need you will have to go with GESBC-9260 board. Both support Linux.
Where do you want to utlise the board? Beagleboard is mostly for desktop-like applications. It lacks I/O.
What i will suggest is this: If u downloaded the document in a folder u can get rid of the containing folder or you can simply copy it to your desktop and try to run it from there. If that doesn't solve your problem you can tell u what error message is given when u try to open the file. That...
