[SOLVED] FT232RL, entegrated LDO 3V3 regulator using PROBLEM

Hi, try adding decoupling capacitors(10micro and 0.1micro farad) at the supply and VCCIO pins.looks like there is some noise issues ---------- Post added at 14:32 ---------- Previous post was at 14:16 ---------- HI, refer the image, vbus is 5v

[SOLVED] PIC16F876A can operate with 3.3v?

check it with any clock oriented functionality, like any synchronous communication with other devices to know its stable working. Disabling BOR is OK

    IC for interfacing 8051 microcontroller

Re: 8051 microcontroller you should use a EEPROM(I2C or SPI interface based) for example AT24C512(I2C based) or 25AA640(SPI based) . Check if your 8051 has I2C or SPI interface and choose the EEPROM accordingly like 89V51RD2 has SPI interface. if your 8051 does not have this interface you can...

    32.768kHz oscillator is not oscillating,

hi, did you try replacing with the new oscillator. I faced problem once with a batch of oscillators not working

    Capacitor help me please?

Capacitors connected between VDD and VSS are de-coupling capacitors. They are used to remove noise/ripples in the voltage supply. Different capacitor values filters out different frequency ripples. Higher capacitor values used to eliminate lower frequency noise/ripples and vice-versa. Replacing...

[SOLVED] PIC16F876A can operate with 3.3v?

looking at the datasheet it can work with 3.3V .It says "Wide operating voltage range (2.0V to 5.5V)" as its characteristics and 3.3V is also within supply(VDD) voltage range. Most of them work with 3.3V

Please tell me what component is this

C124 i think is the board reference for that capacitor, nothing to do with the part number.

Please tell me what component is this

It is a tantalum capacitor(polarized). looks like 150pF capacitor

    5 to 3.3 buffer needed

hi, there is a voltage translator IC from Analog Devices i.e., ADG3304. you can give 3.3V and 5V supply. There are 4 bi-directional channels which will be helpful for your TX and RX lines. Refer the datasheet from the below link and it costs less than a dollar...

i m fresher- plz guide me

hi, As you told you are a hardware design engineer, you might be knowing the basics. there are 2 ways to start 1. I strongly suggest that you ask any of your friends who knows about layout designing to teach you in the beginning(atleast the basics about using the tool) or you will keep...
