    Reverse Engineering a circuit.

I think IR is out of the questions due to the different colors that it will need to reflect off of.(Black) I will look into optical sensors and get back to you.

    Reverse Engineering a circuit.

I thought about the barrier beams in which when the person breaks the beam ill get a signal however that would not give the person a sense of direction on which way to lean or twist. Thats sad that the ultrasonic wont work. I looked at the site you sent me for ultrasonic sensors and it looked...

    Reverse Engineering a circuit.

Now I get what you mean about the cross beams. I could mount a mirror on the device that would show the dots. That is a very easy way to produce the outcomes. The only issue I see is when it is outdoors you could get the reflection of the sun shining right at you. I like this as a good solution...

    Reverse Engineering a circuit.

Im sorry I cant tell you what this is for but it needs to be a box that sits in front of the person performs a distance calibration on the shoulders. Like the bad drawing I have here.

    Reverse Engineering a circuit.

Sorry I miss read the information you wanted for me. The device will be on the ground directly infront of the person with the persons body facing the device based on the led reading the person will tilt forward or backward. The device needs to adjust the leds as the person moves so that when he...

    Reverse Engineering a circuit.

I will still consider using different devices but when I was considering them before I didn't think they would work too well in an outdoor environment and against the material that will be reflecting off of. The device I purchased was a measuring device form bosch called the DLR130. My intent of...

    Reverse Engineering a circuit.

Thanks for all the responses. I am familiar with the laser sensitivity. The application will be used to detect the shoulders of a person and be able to measure the distance from the device. I tried to find vendors that would be able to develop a device that would work for my needs and not be...

    Reverse Engineering a circuit.

Hello, I have a laser distance detector that I would like to reverse engineer. I would like to change out the laser device which is a class 2 to a class 1 so it will be not harmful to the eyes. Therefore I will need to reverse engineer the circuitry to understand more about the device and also...

    [SOLVED] Laser distance measurement components

I will look into the existing laser distance meters to see if I can get any more data on it. In the mean time is there any place I can look to find cameras and documentation using the way your talking about doing which I would expect to be cheaper. The application needs to be accurate enough to...

    [SOLVED] Laser distance measurement components

Hello, I have a project that I want to do using lasers to detect a persons shoulder from no more than 3 meters away and no less than 2 meters away. I have looked at other detection solutions such as IR and other devices but due to the material type (t-shirt) and the device having to work out...

    MAG LT1919WDB monitor repair

mag monitor repair My monitor will work fine for the first 15 minutes and then it will turn off the screen but keep the power light on. If I turn it off and back on I can get about 3 more seconds out of it until I let it rest. I have been looking over other threads and I have checked to see if...
