Just now i tried maple to do this. and it works. Although Matlab have a function (plot:: inequality) for plotting inequalities start away. But unfortunately I dont have R2012a version of Matlab. Anyways thanks for suggestion. regards

I am trying to plot 3D plot for expression : (-b^3+b^2+4*b*c-12*d-3*b-3 < 0) and 4*b^3*d-b^2*c^2-18*b*c*d+27*d^2+4*c^3 < 0 (three unknown variables). I basically wants intersection (overlapping region) between these two plots. Kindly recommendation me any software which will do this...
Default values for MLW=1825.08, MLL=14753.3, CLW=62.8349, CLS=171.14, CLL=7376.64. I used optimization to get the response shown in the above schematic. But that one is not at -10dB.

Ps: I want to get -10 dB ripple level in passband. There is a expr in ADS goals say ripple(dB(S11)) may be this one helpful to get it, but i dont know how to set it.

I am trying to design UWB filter 3.1 to 10.6 GHz bandwidth. Center frequency at 6.85 GHz. I have to optimize my design due to the limitations of parameters(> 250 microns). I want my S11 response to be equi-ripple and <= -10dB.
In defining goals how I put my these conditions over the frequency...
My bandwidth is 7.5 GHz with center frequency at 6.85 GHz. We have facility to design 250 micron and above. I have found these conditions with ADS line calc.
30000/Height(mm) > Freq(MHz)
18 > Er > 1
10 > Width/Height > 0.1
10 > Spacing/Height > 0.1
metal thickness < 0.1*Height and < 0.2*Spacing.
THANKS for reply. Well i am trying to get UWB frequency response. so if i change my substrate hight and microstrip thickness to get the allowable physical dimensions, it will distort my response. Any idea how to manage width and spacing greater the 250 microns while my response is not changed.
