can i connect my video card output to the antenna tv input?

Re: can i connect my video card output to the antenna tv inp You can do that, with 3 (three) separate VGA cards inside your computer. Though I really have no idea whether such setup is possible. Maybe with newer motherboard that has PCI-E slots...

Broken modem - what keeps it off-hook all the time?

It doesn't have to be shorted completely to cause off-hook state. If its resistance is lower than certain level, the switchboard will see it as off-hook. You should ask for telephone line protective varistor, and if you can choose only by voltage, 150V should do. On-hook voltage is usually 48 to...

    tik tik inside my monitor

Something is preventing power supply unit from starting, thus the ticking sound. Very brigh vertical line means that something in the horisontal oscillator died first. Sorry, I have no schematic so can't suggest anything concrete. But something is obviously shorted.

Some very basic questions on antenne

    - Yes. - BALUN stands for BALancedUNbalanced. Dipole is balanced antenna and coaxial cable is unbalanced, so BALUN should be used to rectify that. Mind you, it is not so necessary in HF range.

Broken modem - what keeps it off-hook all the time?

Very blurred picture, but it should be the black one in upper left corner of the board. Three pins on the right side and one bigger pin on the left side.

What is the best Antivirus software on the market?

strongest antvirus in 2009 Norton is bloated smoking pile of sh*t, if you ask for my opinion. Halts any computer to a crawl unless you have at least 512MB of RAM and that is insane requirement for such application. Go for Kaspersky AV. Version 5 is more than enough, IMHO.

Tv shut off by it self? panasonic

Yes, if you left the transistor detached from heatsink, it got too hot and blew up. So you will have to try with a new one, but this time fix it firmly to heatsink before switching the TV on.

Were is the horizontal output transistor in a TV?
