Urgent help please
i have connected my circuit on test board and RX/TX Uart interface to (logic level converter) then to sparkfun serial explorer which is PC side throgh x-ctu software was perfectly working and i was able to control my pic via serial pc port, but now it seems somthing goes...
anybody can help me with wiring this card in my circuit
i have 5V RX/TX from PIC16F877A and i want to communicate with uart card 3.3V TX/RX but the problem how can i test this card i applied 5V on HV side and i got no output on LV side, is anybody used this product before.

thanx again for ur reply, for communication voltage level between pic 5VTTL and module3.3VTTL i will use a logic level converter from sparkfun check the following link

my system udea is to connect the uart interface card 8N1 out/IN to pic16F877a UART out/IN
that why i need to make it on 9 bit since it is 8 bit with one stop
interface card data sheet...

yes that exacly whats iam trying to do, each serial data value will control separte output pin
in summary
tcp/ip command will convert to serial
''0000 0001'' switch on RB1 "Relay 1"
''0000 0010'' switch swich off RB1 "Relay 1"
