im new to hfss.rght now im learing how to write the files i mean only some files are there relted to matlab hfss api.so i need the steps how to run it.

im doing slotted waveguide..i have seen the post where u told that divide the design in to 2parts.im doing the same thing .1st is that waveport assigned at one end and short other end.but return loss os -1 to -2.
is there any condition applied .radiation boundary ..i applied it but there is no...
i have a doubt regarding waveport assignment to slots.waveguide is designed by shorting at one end and slots are cut in the rectangular waveguide.waveport at other end is assigned and for slots also should waveport is assigned??

im trying to dsign 1 waveguid shorted at one end and wave porting at other end but the output is not accurate as far as i knw(zero output).
