Thanks or reply FvM. But as per my understanding, its USB 2.0 Host Port. There are no SuperSpeed SSRX/SSTX lines for Orientation Detection. Hence I did not add any CC lines.
Please clarify if I am wrong.
Hello there. I made a custom PCB with USB-C Host Port and an RK3128 ARM SoM running Linux.
I am facing a problem in my Board with USB-C Host.
- When I attach a regular PenDrive (with a Type-C to USB-A Female adapter cable) everything works. I can see that PenDive is detected by Linux.
- But...
Hi there.
Can anyone suggest a USB-C Docking Controller IC? I found it on Google PS188. But I wanted to know if anyone knows other solution.
I am mainly looking for a single chip controller for Type-C, Hub, HDMI, Audio and if possible NVMe SSD bridge.
Thanks.
Thank you all for reply.
@danadakk: Yes, it looks like a solution. But I would prefer if we can control the pure Power Cut with some discrete components.
@doraemon: I don't want to use any additional MCU due to cost and space.
@KlausST: Looks like a great solution. Can you please suggest any...
Hello All.
I am designing a Li-Po 3.7V powered system with nRF52840 MCU. There is a simple 3.3V LDO (with Enable pin) to power the system. I want to have a Tactile Pushbutton based Power ON/OFF feature similar to a smartphone. For example, single press will Power ON and Press-Hold >5s will...
Hi there.
I am working on an electronics development project. It's some types of IoT device having ARM CPU, WiFi, 2.4G RF, USB, Light and Sound Sensor, Touchscreen etc. I have a question about certification. To launch the product into the global market ( for example Amazon) what are the...
Hi @betwixt, The phone will not be 1970's Dialing based Phone. My project will be mainly for USA so general Number Pad based Landphone which are commonly used in home residence. We can consider like below. All this types of Phone set will have standard RJ11 communication ... right?
Can you...
Hi @betwixt. Many thanks for your detail advise.
I made a basic Block diagram for the project but need some more suggestion on the Schematic.
-1. How the connection will be between RJ11 Port 1 and RJ11 Port 2 with MCU?
-2. For RJ11 port 1, how to seize the line (go off hook)?
-3. For RJ11...
Hello there.
I need a device which will use with Landline phone to provide IVR password security. For example:
Telephone line --- ( RJ11 Cable) ---> DEVICE --- ( RJ11 Cable) ---> Landphone
When a user calls then the DVEICE will auto Answer and play an IVR "Hey, thanks for calling, please...
Hi there. I am designing a Buzzer circuit and I'll be glad to have some advise if my design is Ok.
My Buzzer is "FUET-8540-3.6V" with below specification:
I choose NPN "BC817-40-7-F" considering HFE more than 200.
I put RL = 33 Ohm as Coil Resistor if Buzzer is 16 Ohm. So total effective...
Hi @FvM ... sorry I mistakenly marked the inner layer. But still the outer Layer needs 53.8mil Trace width where as the Pad width is 10mil? How to achieve that?
@Carry for cents bazar, I did not understand what you mean by "Put multiple tracks on different or the same layer. Put a wire. ", can...
Hi.
Its for USB 3.0 Supper Speed. Actually I need to route only B5 (CC2 Pin). B8 is not connected in my design. My Board is 4 Layer.
From B5 the 5mil Trace not passing in any direction ... either Board edge or middle of B4 and B6.
Thanks.
