I've been given an EP-3959E-C3 board from a motor drive.
FUS2, a 2A fuse, opened while starting.
Perhaps this is happening when it switches star to delta? It is apparently a large motor so that is an assumption.
I'm unable to find any information on these and will be looking at the rest of...
Hi!
I didn't get any further with it :(. I think I found some family datasheets but they didn't cover the extra bits the microcontroller has (stepper motor driver...).
I even asked for information on a CPU collectors forum but it seems that this device has managed to evade the internet. It was...
For some products it is mandatory to have the product tested by a "notified body" which is a test lab that specialises in conformance testing.

If it is not a defective component (I assumed that it was!) my guess would be an inductor but it would be necessary to determine the way in which it is connected to other components in the circuit to be sure.
It could very well be a capacitor as the failure mode of chip ceramic tends to be short-circuit. I see "BC" on schematics relating to capacitors.
If the body of the component is darker in colour than a capacitor (black) then it could be an inductor.
Can you tell how it is connected to any...
I've had success reflowing QFN packages on 0.4mm pitch but I imagine that chip-scale bumped packages would be more tricky (especially with hot-air methods)!
Do you have a solder paste stencil for the PCB?
I'd like to try using the "toaster oven reflow" method the next time I make something. I...
I think that hotplates are for rework heating rather than reflowing parts on. It might work but there might be an easier solution.
What are the components that you need to solder?
Yes, feeders are distribution wires or cables.
Protection relays and breakers are can be found in substations and there are also pole mounted version like this:
**broken link removed**
Feeders are monitored by protection relays which trip circuit breakers.

Re: LCD flex ribbon repare
I believe you need just a film, an adhesive paste might be more difficult to apply in a controlled manner but the principle is the same. If I were to try one of these I would use a 200um pitch one (3M™ Anisotropic Conductive Film Adhesive 5363).
Here's how it works...
Re: LCD flex ribbon repare
You could research Anisotropic Conductive Adhesives such as these products:

Preparation of the surfaces, alignment and pressure while the...
