Can someone advise on how to convert the following pspice netlist (a vacuum tube, 6146) to something that will run on ads20xx. I setup a design in ads using SDD but i'm having trouble in convergence. the problem seems to be in the current generation in the grid networks...
rfc orcad
Can any give me a brief tutorial on how to import a subcircuit into orcad 10. I can do it sometimes but the .subckt name seem to cause problems

What effects do minor voids under a microstrip board design (when screw mounting board material on a metal carriers) have on the line performance. i.e. impendence, loss and input/output interconnects (launchers screwed to the carrier).
The following steps will create an entry in the library browser called My_Library, and place the BJT model you imported making it available sitewide:
1.-The import process created a design with the name of the model (i.e. bjt 2n2222a) as design name. Edit this design by entering a BJT and...
20-30 watt amplifier
Thanks for the replies. Suggestions were good but this part needs to be operated class C. Efficiency is important. Am currently using MRF282 but it sucks to much power in class AB.

Actually you can design the match with an open stub then work backwards with a smith chart to determine capacitance. Just tried it out and it seem to work.

The way I do it is to fine the feed point impedance, then match with a smith chart. I would like to simulate the smith chart answer using NEC to verify the result. Guess I can't!

NEC design problem
Is there any way to design a matching network using shunt elements with an nec based program? It appear that only series loads are allowed. I need a shunt negative reactance to ground at the feed point. I'm using eznec.

spicenet iccap
A question regarding agilent's ic-cap. Using the software, can you generate a model file without hooking up to external test equipment? Is it possible to use it in the same fashion as intusoft's spicenet?
