I need a circuit that will match my aircraft audio system to my video camera audio input. I want to record the audio I hear in my headset on the video I am making from the camera. I know that there is an impedance problem but I don't know how to match it up.
Thanks
I would use a Picaxe. It has a bootstrap basic interpreter and it uses the Pic chip.
Fully functional with PWM, etc. Cheap as dirt and you can learn the code in a few hours. Not going to be the case with the Pic and assembler.
The Picaxe also has a free editor program and you use it to...
Still funny ... so you think USPS can get it there by Friday? Get real.
You want FREE samples so you need to wait or pay the price. Your pitch was for someone to send you FREE samples that they could get and you would pay the mail cost, nice of you, but ..... get real twice.
If you can't...
The best way is to buy a sprinkler valve timer with 12 stations. It will run all of the valves and each one is individually programmable for on off times, duration, etc. Cost about $30 US. I use them in my greenhouses and they work perfectly.
Look here for ideas:

picaxe gauge
I have the 12v single wire oil pressure sender in the car. I believe it produces a variable output voltage vs. pressure which usually connects to a gauge.
I want to connect this signal to the Picaxe processor A/D input. Issues are noise from the auto electrical system and...
picaxe event counter
Humm ..... Your math is spot on perfect so nothing to fix there. The 32 bit math is very, very close also but it DOES NOT WORK unless I divide by 2 because of this PIP signal. Easy to fix for this one car type but not too good otherwise.
Here is the problem though. I...
how to pic picaxe input counter
Dennis I think you are correct on all fronts here. I got hold of tech in UK today and now I think I know what is going on.
This PULSIN command looks at a change of state from 0-1 or 1-0 and that is the time measurement. The manual is pretty misleading on...
picaxe count examples
The plot thickens:
OK ... this rascal is not working. I put some info and pics up on a page here:

I also mention that the digital tach in the car reads accurately on either connection line.
With Dennis's code I get this result with this board...
calculate the rpm of the car with a waveform
Well .... it turns out Dennis that you are probably correct as usual!
Here is what I have found now. If I connect to the nasty tach line it is correct. If I connect to the nice PIP line (those are the scope pictures) it is wrong by a factor of 2...
edis8 rpm module
Update:
Interesting find yesterday. I built a proto unit with the diode interface and it works perfectly.
PROBLEM however is that it is off by a factor of two!! This unit reads 2x the RPM so this "probably" means that my formula (RPM=3,000,000/Count) is wrong.
This also...
