    Yes, it means that your input voltage range must be within the specified voltage.

    any rf expert here You can modulate the signal using IF if your superhet is used only for a single carrier. But it will be a problem if there are more than 1 carriers. In that case, you would need frequency converter to downconvert the RF carrier to IF.
