How to calculate MMIC MLIN Length and Width using ADS

I am designing MMIC Power Amplifier. I want to calculate Lamda/4 line MLIN Length and Width at 26 GHz while designing MMIC PA. In MIC design, we can easily calculate MLIN Length and Breadth once we know parameters like Dielectric Constant, Dielectric Height, Frequency, Z0, Electrical...

Facing problem while combining two Power Amplifiers output powers

I wanted to combine two PAs output powers using 90 degree (3-dB) coupler. I have simulated single stage PA output power of 28.317 dBm at 22 dBm of input power. But When I combined two similar parallel PAs using 90 degree (3-dB) coupler, I am getting output power of 14. 863 dBm for 22 dBm input...

Clarification regarding calculating input power of Power Amplifier

Pin(dBm) = 38 Watts- 15 dB + 3 dB Pin(dBm) +15 dB - 3 dB = 38 Watts Pin(dBm) + 12 dB = 38 Watts My doubt is how it becomes 38W/ 15.8. dB cannot be converted to dBm. It can be converted dBm into Watts easily. Don't mind. Clarify it

Clarification regarding calculating input power of Power Amplifier

I want to find out input power for desired output power of a Power Amplifier. Below, I have attached formula for finding out input power. I have got confused with this formula. In the formula they are saying input power = (output power required - gain as mentioned in the data sheet) + 3 dB. I...

Help ADS Document for MMIC PA Design

I have attached MMIC ADS design document and Screen related to MMIC design of Amplifier. It looks similar to Microwave Integrated Circuit (MIC) design implementation. But in MIC Amplifier design, lumped values of resistance , capacitors and inductors are separated by using MLIN with larger...

Help ADS Document for MMIC PA Design

Like ADS CookBook, is there any help document available for Power Amplifier(PA) Design using MMIC Technology. In ADS CookBook, good example has given to desIgn PA at 1 GHz using Microwave Integrated Circuit (MIC). Like ADS CookBook, help document available for design at any band PA...

Optimization Error while designing Power Amplifier using ADS

When I do optimization for S11 and S22, I am getting results nicely without any optimization error. I have attached same results below. But when I include Pdel_dBm, LS_Gain_dB and dBm(Vout) these for optimization. I included correct measurement equations also. I am getting optimization error.

Optimization Error while designing Power Amplifier using ADS

Every seems to be ok. Still I am getting error.

Optimization Error while designing Power Amplifier using ADS

Yes I did mistake. I wanted to type for TL13 W = 890 um instead of 890 mm and L = 14 mm. After correcting also these, I am getting error. 1699285968 As you said. It is correct. I wanted to type L = 890 um instead of 890 mm and L = 14.3626 mm. But still it is showing error.

Optimization Error while designing Power Amplifier using ADS

I have designed Power Amplifier(PA) using ADS2022. I am getting error while optimizing PA. I didn't know where I am making mistake.

Getting Parse Error while simulating Power Amplifier using ADS

Parse Error is showing in line number 50. But when I went and checked showing error in the line number 50. But it seems to be ok. I couldn't find error in MTEE7. 1699009690 Parse Error is showing in line number 50. But when I went and checked showing error in the line number 50. But it seems to...

Getting Parse Error while simulating Power Amplifier using ADS

How to avoid some extra line breaks that cause error. When we go and search line 45 or 50. There are no errors at all. How to overcome this parse error. I have simulated once again and attached below the error messages and netlist pdf also.
