Re: Log Amplifier Design
Burr-brown LOG100 works from 1na with a dynamic range of 6 decades. My requirements start from 1 pA with a range of 9 decades.

log amplifier design
I have to design a log amplifier with input range 1pA - 10mA. Is there any commercial IC available which can be direcltly used. Or if any one having a reference design please let me know.

Hi Silvio,
You are right. What I need exactly is a digital Potentiometer with 1 milli ohm setp. I do not think that there is any ready made commercial digital pot is available with that accuracy. My application is to control the value of the resistence under software control for calibrating the...
I require some design reference on digitally simulating resistance for a calibration source. I have to control resistance from 0 ohm to 1000 ohm in one milli ohm steps. Please let me know whether there are any application note or other circuit reference available.
Thanks.

My RS232-JTAG converter in C_y_g_n_a_l development kit has failed. May be due to some wrong connection made by my trainee engineer. Is there any way around to make it alright?. My local representative does not support in this regard. The JTAG adapter has F012 controller on it. Thanks.
digital oscilloscope design reference
A very good reference. Though I am not intended for building my own Oscilloscope it gives great insight into the design methodology. Thanks for the link

I have used many packages. But I am highly satisfied with Protel99SE. You can download the fully working version from http://www.protel.com.
